1 Tbs. canola oil
2 C. cold water
2 minced garlic cloves
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3 Tbs. minced parsley
5 oz. sausage links, sliced
¾ C. uncooked brown rice
Directions:
1.Grease a large skillet with oil and place over medium heat. Add garlic, red and green bell pepper and cook until tender, about 6 minutes.
2.Add water and simmer for 5 minutes. Add rice and mix well. Let simmer for at least 45 minutes, until rice has absorbed liquid.
3.Add sausage and cook until meat is well cooked. Sprinkle seasoning over dish and serve.
