Thick And Flaky Potatoes Au Gratin

Ingredients:

3 lb. potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste  Coupons
1 C. heavy cream
2 C. Gruyere cheese, shredded





Directions:

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large pot, add potato slices, garlic, and a bit of salt. Boil for 5 to 10 minutes until just becoming tender and drain. Layer half of your potato slices in a greased baking dish and cover with half of the cream, pepper, and cheese. Repeat once more and bake for 1 hour until top is golden brown.
