Corn Savory Bread

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Cornmeal
1 cup Flour
1 Tablespoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3/4 cup milk
1 Egg, lightly beaten
1 cup Creamed corn
1 1/2 cup Cheddar, grated
2 Tablespoons Butter


DIRECTIONS:

1.Place a large cast iron skillet in the oven. Pre-heat to
425. Mix together all ingredients (except the butter).

2.Add the butter to the hot pan until just melted.

3.Pour the mixture into the hot pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until
lightly browned.

4.Allow to cool slightly before serving.
